Preparing for re:Invent 2025

If you've been following this blog, you might have noticed things have been quieter than usual. The technical deep dives, infrastructure walkthroughs, and problem-solving posts have slowed to a trickle. There's a good reason for this temporary silence - I've been heads down preparing for AWS re:Invent 2025.

The re:Invent Marathon

Preparing for re:Invent sessions isn't just about creating slides. It's about building solutions, doing dry-runs, reviewing workshops, and ensuring that the bar is raised as high as possible.

This year, I'm delivering two sessions and I'm very excited about both:

Somehow I convinced them to let me name this Vibin' with Claude. That's right, we're going to learn to vibe code with Claude. But this isn't just typing prompts and hoping it works out - we have an entire workflow built for you so it actually works.

Every time I see this in action, I have a hard time believing it actually works. In this session, we'll show you how to build a completely dynamic, domain agnostic, agentic workflow using A2A, Bedrock, Strands, and MCP. And yes, that's basically every buzzword in one sentence, but it really works. And you can build it.

I have spent months working on these sessions with some amazing colleagues and I can't wait to share them.

Come Find Me at re:Invent

If you're attending re:Invent 2025 (December 1-5 in Las Vegas), I'd love to connect. Beyond the sessions themselves, re:Invent is a lot of fun and a great chance to meet up.

Whether you want to discuss the challenges of running Ghost on AWS, dive deeper into container orchestration, explore AI/ML applications, or just chat about the latest in cloud architecture, find me after the sessions or in the hallways.

The Posts Will Return

Once re:Invent wraps up, regular posting will resume. There's already a backlog of topics to cover:

  • Advanced CDK patterns discovered during session prep
  • Using Claude Code to build... well, everything
  • Agentic workflows and dynamic processing

The temporary quiet is just the calm before the storm of new content, informed by the intensive preparation and discussions that re:Invent brings.

Until Then

Thank you for your patience during this quieter period. The same dedication that goes into each technical blog post is being poured into making these re:Invent sessions valuable for attendees. If you're coming to re:Invent, I hope to see you there. If not, I'll be back with regular posts and new insights gained from the conference experience.

In the meantime, feel free to explore the existing posts on Ghost infrastructure, AWS deployment patterns, and the various challenges we've solved together. And mark your calendars for re:Invent 2025 - it's going to be worth the wait.

See you in Vegas! And sorry, Alex!
